Shelton Borehole Drilling has in its employ some of the most experienced drilling operators in the Western Cape. The terrain in parts of this area is among the most difficult in the world for drilling so hands-on experience in these conditions is the key to professional, successful installations.

Shelton Drainage Solutions cc is a well-known Cape Town based company that was instrumental in the design and successful execution of the water management systems for many of the World Cup soccer stadium completed in 2010, as well as cricket stadiums such as Newlands Cricket Ground.

Shelton Drainage Solutions was established in the UK in 1981, concentrating on sports turf drainage. The Company has been in the forefront of developments in this field and many practices pioneered by it have been accepted worldwide as the norm.

The close corporation Shelton Drainage Solutions cc is a South African company formed in 1999 to complete drainage installations to sports fields using the Shelton system.
The company is owned by Roland Kugelmann and is based in Cape Town but works throughout South Africa.

We at Shelton Drainage Solutions pride ourselves in leaving a site as clean as we found it.

Borehole Installation: Atlantic Beach

Just a brief note of thanks to you and your team for the efficient and professional manner in which our borehole installation was successfully completed last week.

Given that we have had experience with such a project in the past we are  well aware of the potential problems associated with boreholes However  this time around everything ran smoothly.

Drilling was quick and care was taken not to be too disruptive to the surrounding area. After the drilling was completed the clean-up team arrived promptly and tidied the site.
During this exercise the pump was installed and by evening the new borehole was connected to our irrigation system..

We also welcomed your advice on not drilling to excessive depths as this may have an impact on the quality of the water and damage to the underlying aquifer.

I contacted Roland Kugelman from Shelton Drainage in regard to installing a borehole at my property.  Having known him for nearly 20 years I had great faith in his expertise.

Being the professional he is, he recommended Zuid ….. to us for the installation once we had found water after he had drilled. We dealt with Nico Bezidenhout from Zuid.
The drilling team are exceptionally clean and so little noise and mess that our neighbours even commented!

Shelton cleaned up the site beautifully and immediately Zuid… team came in. They too were so professional and kept us updated at all times even when we had a time constraint or a technical matter happened on their side.

We are exceptionally happy with the whole setup and the tidy manner it has been installed with. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with These two companies that not only have the environment at heart but the client should be highly commended on their service and after care service as well.

I would just like to thank you for a job well done. The installation went without a hitch and the level of service was fantastic.

From the drilling of the borehole to the installation of the pump and filters it was an absolute pleasure. I was really impressed with the company you used for the pump and filter, Zuid Engineering.

They also did a filter at my house so I spent a bit of time with the installer and he was very thorough and made sure I understood the filter installation before he left in both work and at home cases.

At work we were flushing 170 000 litres of water a month down our toilets. The installation will literally pay for itself within a year and quite honestly it is the right thing to do anyway given our water crisis.

I would highly recommend SDS and Zuid.
